Civic & Public Data

Better decisions start with better data.

Local governments and civic organizations are sitting on more data than they know what to do with. We build the tools that turn it into something useful.

Civic data work is different. We do it anyway.

Most software companies avoid civic and government work. The procurement cycles are long, the requirements are unusual, and the budgets don't match enterprise price tags.

That's exactly the opening we build for. Local governments, Community Redevelopment Agencies, and economic development offices need real tools — not spreadsheets held together with formulas and hope. We build focused, affordable solutions for the problems that have been on the back burner for years.

No six-month implementation timelines. No enterprise contracts. Just tools that work.

Economic Development Spatial analysis and market data tools that help CRAs and EDOs identify opportunities and make the case for investment.
Public Safety & Infrastructure Data analysis tools that surface patterns, track assets, and support better resource allocation decisions.
Compliance & Reporting Tools that make regulatory compliance less painful — for the organizations that have to maintain it and the residents who depend on it.
Community Transparency Public-facing tools and dashboards that help local governments communicate clearly with the people they serve.

Small Business Gap Analysis Tool

Every city has businesses it needs but doesn't have. The hard part has always been proving it — with real data, not instinct.

Our Small Business Gap Analysis tool uses official business license and tax receipt data to identify underserved business categories in a defined area. It maps where demand exists, where supply falls short, and gives economic development staff something they can actually present to a council or a developer.

This tool does not exist for small and mid-size markets. Enterprise platforms like Esri's Business Analyst offer similar capabilities — at $10,000+ price points built for large organizations. We built the affordable equivalent. Currently in active beta with municipal clients in Florida.

Who it's for Community Redevelopment Agencies, Economic Development Offices, and city or county staff responsible for business recruitment and retention.
What it does Ingests official business tax receipt data, maps business density by category, and surfaces gaps between supply and projected demand at the neighborhood or corridor level.
What makes it different No enterprise contract. No GIS team required. Affordable, focused, and built specifically for smaller markets that have been priced out of this kind of analysis.
Current status Active beta. Interested in bringing this to your market? Let's talk.
